This lap desk has some really great features that solve almost all the problems with using a laptop while in bed or in a recliner or many other positions other than sitting in a comfortable chair at a desk. I love the integrated mousepad and the tray for holding a phone conveniently while working. And I love the integrated wrist rest. It is also the perfect size for my 14 inch Lenovo. I wish the base material was constructed of a little stronger/thicker material, it is a bit flimsy, but time will tell if that impacts durability. I suspect most people would rather pay $5 more for sturdier construction and the sound of mind it would bring. I like it enough that I looked into purchasing one for a family member as a gift, but they have a 17-inch laptop that I think would be too large for this. I looked at other models in the LapGear line that accommodate larger laptops, and they don't have the same features as this one, losing the wrist rest and the phone tray. Why doesn't Lap Doesn't make at least two sizes in each line to span the range of Laptops out there? I am looking for a different brand I guess for the larger laptop.

Hi Ken! Thank you for leaving your review on our Home Office Pro Lap Desk. We do have our Elevation Pro Lap Desk which is designed to fit a 17-inch lap desk. Although it is missing the full wrist rest pad at the base, it does come with the gel wrist rest that is built into the mouse pad.
